All of the Group’s gold mining operations are located in Russia – one of the world’s leading mineral-producing countries and one of the richest in terms of its reserves and resources. In addition to vast untapped gold resources, Russia possesses a pool of highly-qualified and talented workers, a stringent legal and regulatory framework and an established culture of mining innovation as its  long mining tradition has favoured the development of technical mining expertise.

Petropavlovsk's main operations are located in the Amur Region in the Russian Far East, close to the border with China. The Group has several exploration projects in various regions of Russia at different stages of exploration and development.

The Group has corporate offices in London, Hong Kong, Moscow and Blagoveschensk (Amur Region).
