Kuranakh
Kuranakh produces titanomagnetite and ilmenite concentrate.
The mine is located in the north of the Amur region and is directly connected to the BAM railway, which in turn is connected to the Chinese railway network through the Trans-Siberian railway.
The licence area for Kuranakh covers an area of 85km2 and was explored extensively both during the Soviet era and subsequently by the Group.
Kuranakh was commissioned in May 2010, with a formal commissioning ceremony undertaken by the President of Russia in July 2010.
